Entering its third season, Aventura welcomes a host of new obstacle courses, mini-kids activities, nature trails, educational sustainability programs and team building programmes. A destination for families, school trips, corporate team building and special events, Aventura is the place where children learn, play and grow and where adults learn more about themselves and each other.
Aventura partners with outdoor education specialists to create educational programs that complement school curriculum and enrich character building.With the trend of dynamic teaching on the rise, the focus on encouraging children to be active and resilient from a young age is becoming increasingly more important in both schools and at home – an initiative which the team at Aventura Nature Adventure Park support through offering authentic experiences, rooted in nature.
Also new to the Aventura offering this season is the ‘Mini Kids’ circuit – a friendly, adventurous itinerary of activities and action for those aged four to eight, so the whole family can enjoy a day out. Guided by qualified and trusted instructors, the tranquil nature trail, celebrating the flora and fauna of the UAE, is available for all ages surrounded by the beautiful Ghaf tree forest. The park also offers sustainable living seminars, delivered by local experts along with arts and crafts sessions – all of which place an emphasis on the reuse and recycle ethos – so there really is something for all ages and skill levels. Fun, thrill, adventure with cohesive learning are the hallmarks of this nature park.
“We’ve spent the summer months developing our new programs in order to strengthen and deliver authentic outdoor experiences. We’re focusing a lot more on our wellness and educational elements, so we inspire everyone who visits us – aiming to connect communities and individuals to nature.” Comments Lina Malas, Director. “All our educational programs have strong curricular connections and offer meaningful and fun field trips. We’re also proud to have launched our sustainability programs in collaboration with Eedama, which aims to develop and deliver programs and initiatives centered on building awareness, preserving nature and celebrating community.”
The character of the adventure park remains, and adult guests can still enjoy exhilarating challenges across five different circuits, off the ground and between the trees. Conquer the longest series of thrilling tree-top zip-lines in the region, and leap across the great 25-meter Tarzan jump – all while reconnecting with friends, family and nature. New and exhilarating features include Aventura’s 10-meter Wall with spectacular views at the top as well as the Aventura Leap of Faith, a 5-meter climb and jump that pumps the adrenaline for maximum thrill.
Located in Mushrif Park – just 20 minutes away from Downtown Dubai – the all new Aventura Obstacle Course is the first of its kind in Dubai. The course has been specially designed to cater to all fitness levels with Aventura’s fully qualified coaches on-hand to help prepare you for your next fitness challenge through their bootcamps and the Aventura Running Club.
The location is also perfect for corporate team building exercises and leader development programs as the venue can accommodate group bookings, birthday parties and private events for up to 500 participants. On site there is also the green and tranquil Café Chris, which offers delicious salads, great burgers and sandwiches, creative and healthy pastas, and fresh Pizzas – all baked in-house. The venue is also promoting sustainability and is implementing practices such as converting vegetable scraps from their onsite cafe to compost which will then be used at stations within the grounds for guests to practice their composting habits.
