Enthusiastic swimmers from across Dubai are preparing for the 2011 swim around Burj Al Arab to raise funds for international charity, Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF).
On Friday 11th November 2011, hundreds of participants will descend into the waters and swim an 800m loop around the iconic Burj Al Arab under the watchful eyes of the Wild Wadi Lifeguards.
With six categories to compete in as either a team or individually, the swim is open to both males and females of all ages. Registration is from 6am – 7.30am and costs AED 275 per person with all funds donated to MSF.

In 2010, 500 swimmers raised over AED 250,000 for MSF, which this year will be celebrating 40 years of Independent Humanitarian Action.

From healthclub memberships and two-night stays in Burj al Arab, to Wild Wadi Waterpark passes and meals in Jumeirah restaurants, the winners placed 1st, 2nd and 3rd in each category have plenty of prizes up for grabs.

Registration takes place at Wild Wadi Waterpark entrance.
